The first trimester of pregnancy is always the most dangerous and risky stage. For most of the times, you have no idea about pregnancy till you miss your period. Even then most of the women don’t really notice any changes. Once they know what about pregnancy through a doctor or a pregnancy test starts the vulnerability.
As the first trimester goes by, many women start to experience mood swings and extreme discomfort as the stomach starts expanding to make room for the baby’s growth. You may undergo nausea and breast fullness at this early period of your pregnancy. Nausea is quite common along with cravings for strange and different foods.
The first trimester is probably the riskier of the two as all the important body organs of the baby start to grow with rapid speed. The chances of miscarriage are the highest in first trimester if care is not taken. The most common problems include heartburn, nausea, constipation and indigestion. It is always better to keep in touch with your doctor and never miss any appointment.
The best way to go through this risky stage is to eat lots of healthy food preferably in small portions as not to bloat you with too much food. Avoid any oily and spicy food. Rest as much as you can and try not to lift anything heavy. Smoking and alcohol should be completely avoided during this period. Light walk and exercise is highly recommended for a healthy pregnancy time.
